I don’t need a costume my real face scares children and small animals. My favorite scary movie is an oldie called “The Incredible Dr. Phibes” It is a Vincent Price number where he plays an organ and drains the blood out of his victims. Dirk says: …I love THE INCREDIBLE DR. PHIBES and the sequel DR. PHIBES RISES AGAIN! I have both of them on dvd. Vincent Price made some good flicks in the day (THEATRE OF BLOOD, MASQUE OF THE RED DEATH).
When I was young, all so many years ago, I wanted nothing to do with anything Halloween. Begrudgingly I allowed myself to be dressed as a princess. The next 8 years I dressed as a hobo, then graduated to just soaping windows. Not a Halloween fan.
As for my favorite scary movie? I snuck out of bed when I was 10 to watch Psycho with my Dad. It has haunted me for 40+ years, so I’ve never watched another movie that was even remotely scary. My question is this—why in the hell would anyone WANT to be scared? Seriously!

After that we went to Hween party. Beings as we was all dressed up, we stuck on pink ears, pig’s noses and pink, curly tails, brought boxes of tissues and went as Swine Flu.

My sister is having a murder mystery party – The Immortal Murders. There are several clans. The clans are going to a masquerade. I will be dressed as a vampire who is dressed as a red cross blood collection nurse.

But I have a thing for faces & masks, so every year I wear a different mask. This year it’s a black and silver Venetian looking mask — it has a hat built in and all you and see are my eyes.

I am not dressing up this year, I have to work halloween night so that kinda blows it and work has a no costume policy. This job sucks.
My favorite scary movie is now Paranormal Activity. I haven’t slept well since I saw it. And I’m sleeping in the living room now.

Favorite Scary Movie: the original Texas Chainsaw Massacre (or really anything that involves being chased because it scares the shit out of me.)
Costume: (was purchased for me) Some sort of gothic, dark fairy thing complete with wings and a wand accented with a big ol’ wig.
