The Young and the Restless Recap for Week Ending 09-25-09: Part 1 (“I realize that the writing team of this show had little interest in Colleen Carlton, but good goddamn — any dumbass worth his or her weight would know if you are going to kill off a legacy character you should drag it out for maximum impact and use the opportunity to bring back characters to help delineate and remind the viewer why they should care about the exiting character. Of course, Y&R has fumbled this — and very badly. Forget that stupid fucking Amber and Daniel and that inane Terroni bullshit — focus on 3-dimensional characters like Tracy and Jack and the ramifications of her actions resulting in another death finally hitting the erractic Gloria. Good story comes from good characters…not stolen artwork” Edition)
