The Young and the Restless Recap for Week Ending 07-24-09: Part 1 (“Take some No-Doze, kids, ’cause this may be the most boring goddamn week in the history of ever for this show…wait I take that back he most boring weeks ever were the ones with The Moustache and Lurch jabbering about art and talking in some foreign language and giggling like a couple of school-girls. Or when Phyllis was in jail and never had a guard try to have sex with her or a lesbian inmate hit on her but instead just kept using the pay-phone with that seemingly never ending roll of quarters. Or — dare I say it? — the time we spent months hearing the words ‘Grucheon’ and ‘reliquary’ and The Jew snapped a guy’s neck with his powerful Jew thighs. Okay, that last part was kind of awesome in a ‘That was so bad they wouldn’t even do that on XENA’ sort of way but it still didn’t justify the sum total of the parts, you know? So in conclusion, it was a very dull week” Edition)
