It’s Tuesday and I’m taking the morning off work to go to a training seminar for another job. (Yeah, I’m a bitch like that — don’t hate.) And because I’m all keyed up and nervous and shit about making a good impression at this training session, I totally did NOT do the right thing and prepare a post the night before like a good little blogger. (Don’t give me shit — it’s GOSSIP GIRL Monday, people.) Therefore, I’m once again serving up a steaming helping of what’s on my mind…
~ There are oodles and gobbles of tv on dvd awesomeness flying onto store shelves today and none are as eagerly anticipated by yours truly as PUSHING DAISIES. If you’ve seen this one, you know of its greatness. If you haven’t then run out and pick this one up. Whimsical, romantic, quirky, and simply unlike anything else on today. Pick it up already.
~ I may not have any interest in the outcome of BIG BROTHER 11 since Keesha was evicted, but that sure as hell isn’t stopping me from working on my application for BIG BROTHER 12. And talk about tough questions! “Do you have a homepage on the Internet? If so, what is the address?” Geez, talk about a double sword with that one. Part of me thinks listing my home page could be a help, but The Fella doesn’t know about the blog so that could come back to bite me in the ass on the off chance I was chosen. Sigh.
~ It’s amazing how quickly your writing muscles become weak when you don’t exercise them. Trying to write a real post last week (i.e., Friday’s debacle) after several weeks of being ‘puterless was harder than Hell. It actually took me two days to come up with that piece of shit. I’m slowly getting back into the groove I think, so be warned — lengthy boring shit is on the horizon.
~ 4 people were fired from work on Friday for taking things that didn’t belong to them. Things like money. People are so dumb.
~ I desperately need an idea for a Halloween costume. The Fella suggested I go as Jim Dangle from RENO 911 and he would go as Travis. I suggested I go as Tim Gunn and he go as Heidi Klum from PROJECT RUNWAY, but neither of seemed too crazy about the other’s idea. Suggestions…?
~ Saw BURN AFTER READING. I’m sure I’m in the minority, but all I could think the entire time I was watching Brad Pitt was “cheater, cheater, big fat cheater.” Stuff like that tends to pull you right out of the movie going experience.
~ Did anybody watch FRINGE? What the fuck was that DOA piece of shit? Thanks anyway, FOX — I watched THE X-FILES the first time you aired it.
~ I do not like spiders and I will scream like a girl and throw stuff at one if spotted. Just ask The Fella.
That’s it for today, kids! Take care, have a great day, and don’t forget to send in those Halloween costume ideas (who knows — maybe the winning idea will result in a pic…ooooooooooooooh!)

That is a hard question about revealing your blog. I don’t know if it would help. And could you clarify… It’s amazing how quickly your writing muscles become when you…
Become what?

I lasted a whole five minutes with Fringe and deleted it from my DVR. Now the producer is saying he won’t be surprised if it’s cancelled but he’s citing production issues, not creative ones. Denial ain’t just a river in Egypt.

Gossip Girl, so in love with that show. I stayed up until 2am watching that shit on my Tivo. Hmmm, Halloween costumes. Batman and Robin? I bet you’ll get some good ideas.
And FOUR people got fired from where you work for stealing? What the hell kind of place do you work at? I hope you are able to get a different job.
And my mom watches Big Brother also and I was telling her about you and how it would be so cool to see someone on there that I actually sort of “knew.” I hope you are able to get on next season! And I really don’t care who wins between Dan and Memphis either. I’ll just look online to see who won.

Halloween costume? Dory and Nemo. I’ll expect a picture of both of you post haste.
If you go on BB 12 you’re identity will be out in the open. You’ll be scrutinized like a Politician. Your Blog being read by the Fella will be the least of your troubles. Still, it is a chance worth taking. You would be America’s Player and hopefully your housemates will be open to accepting a Gay man. When you win HOH they’ll be pictures of the Fella in your room beside the one of Lola in orange sweat shirt with tight red pants. I can’t wait to watch.

You’re applying for BB11, Dirk. BB10 has its finale tonight…I hope Dan wins (sorry, Ed!).
The last Brad Pitt movie I watched was Mr. & Mrs. Smith, and I, like you, couldn’t get past the cheating. Especially since they were no doubt cheating while making the movie. I used to love me some Brad, but lost all feelings for him when he ‘did her wrong.’
As for your website, maybe you should start one that’s all BB, and write that down as your homepage. A little suckin’ up never hurt anyone, right?

I’ve watched every season of BB, and I don’t think the producers have ever published links to a contestant’s blog, website, Facebook or MySpace page. So telling them about it doesn’t mean they’ll let the world know. That said, I’m sure you’ve seen the MySpaces of some past contestants. Regardless of whether you disclose it to the producers, if you become a contestant, you run the risk that its existence will become public knowledge. For example, every one who reads this blog knows of your interest in BB, and could put 2 and 2 and 2 together…you stop blogging for several months, BB goes on the air, BB features a gay guy from the Midwest in a committed relationship…

I love, love, love Pushing Daisies! I don’t condone stealing of any kind, but with this economy it doesn’t surprise me that people are doing it and getting caught. Learn to go without I say!
I think Brad got with Angelina as a career move and nothing else. (boo, hiss me, right?)
You guys should be 2 of the superheros from Marvel Comics, like Spider Man and Hulk, or maybe Ariel and Tritan?

How about Ariel and Sebastian?

Okay, forget all other suggestions including my own for Halloween. I have the perfect ones for you and the Fella. For you: Ellen Degeneres. For the Fella: K.D. Lang I mean what could be more perfect?
Good luck in getting the new job. Who wants to work around a bunch of embezzlers? Don’t expect to escape crazy co-workers, they are more common than flies on shit.

I think the RENO 911 costumes could be killer!

I enjoyed the weird called “The Fringe” – it kept getting odder and odder. I think I’m going to watch. I want to see the insta-baby.
I like the Tim Gunn/Heidi idea. Jim Dangle is pretty funny too, but if you do Reno, then someone needs to be Raineesha… or Trudy.
How about “Wonder Twins Powers: ACTIVATE.” (love the twins)
Sponge Bob and Patrick.
Ariel and Ursula.
Peggy Hill as Gov. Palin and Grandpa Hill as McCain.

So……? Did you watch the BB finale? Dan won! And Memphis didn’t get one single vote! Guess being a floater isn’t the way to win (remember that for next season!). A little bit of sweet to the bitter—our dear sweet Keesha won $25,000 as America’s favorite juror. YOU GO GIRL!!!

Can’t help you with the halloween costume, I hate halloween. I will leave a bowl of candy out front and go to the movies. As for Big Brother, thank goodness Dan won and not Memphis. At least Kiesha was picked as the favorite house guest. I would have picked Renny. Don’t hate me.

I really liked Pushing Daisies, I’m glad they brought it back on. I’m pretty much in agreement with Fringe, I’m disappointed given it’s pedigree.
