It’s Friday and after the lengthy shit I posted on Tuesday and Wednesday, I decided to postpone the Bruce post I had prepared for today. The internet is for porn, not reading and I would hate to overwhelm anyone who wandered over here expecting filth and got words and shit. Plus, I don’t want to set the bar for productivity too high or some of you might start expecting more from me.
So in the place of that Bruce post, I am serving up a random thoughts post (’cause they are wicked easy to do)…
~ God bless the execs over at Sony. They are finally releasing PARTY OF FIVE – SEASON 3 after a more than 2 year wait since season 2. Bailey’s alcoholism, Julia’s fling with Ben Browder, Kirsten’s break-down…this may be the show’s finest season. (Although, I am already in mourning that Sony most likely won’t pony up the cash to include “This Woman’s Work” by Kate Bush when Bailey goes to see Sarah after nearly killing her in a drunk driving accident.)
~ Oh for the love of Christ — between the writer’s strike and the practice election shit, there is nothing on tv.
~ The gout is back. Hoo-fucking-ray. I’m calling the doctor this morning but am refusing more steroids. Those things made me a bit edgy and anxious.
~ Looks like Disney’s The Little Mermaid is getting universally panned, but I don’t care. I still want to see it, if for no other reason than I am completely obsessive about all things Little Mermaid. And they’ll have nice chotchkes in the lobby.
~ Coffee Guy sent a text message last night at 10:26 last night to tell me he enjoyed his movie and to ask if one if the characters was nuts or what. I did not respond. I mean seriously…wtf?

Please try the cherry juice. My Dad uses it and his gout bouts are now few and far between whereas he used to have almost constant pain in his feet.
Concerned: Is this a new session or an upcoming session with Bruce? I remember how he humiliated you last time and threatened worse things for next time. I believe he said he would make you strip in an alley and leave you there. If he does don’t let him tie you up there because you would be at the mercy of any low life who cums by.
CG seems to consider you a pal or buddy but doesn’t want more. There is somethng not right about him be careful.

What movie was he watching? Is he one of those people who will not be interupted while watching the telly? I knew a girl in high school who would get mad if you called her during “Little House On The Prairie.”
People should always pony up money for Kate Bush.

The 3rd season!! I didn’t realize the others were out. I was just telling HD about a month ago that I couldn’t believe that they weren’t on DVD yet. Damn, now I have to determine if I should buy or just Netflix ‘em. Decisions, decisions

I’m sad about Little Mermaid. Its my favorite new-era Disney film… but probably too ambitious to try to reproduce something on stage with humans that is supposed to take place underwater… with sea creatures.

I know what you mean about steroids. Last time I took steroids I got psychotic. Superman gets angry and dangerously close to violent. I told our doctor not to ever give Superman steroids again. Ever. I may have threatened his life, I can’t remember exactly what I said. But the doc remembers very well. He’ll remind Superman of it every so often.

You probably won’t believe this but I’ve never seen The Little Mermaid. I finally bought the DVD about a month ago but have not seen it yet. As for the play, the reviews I’ve seen are okay. They all like the actress playing the lead, but don’t think the play lives up to the bar set by The Lion King and Beauty and the Beast. But those are awfully high bars and I really don’t think anything would have lived up to them
